The bleeding heart pigeon is a dove species that can be seen in the Casela Bird Park at Black River near Tamarin and Flic en Flac villages. The bird is also known as Luzon bleeding heart. Actually it is called “bleeding heart” because of the splash of red colour in the middle of their white feathered chest. The bird is endemic to Luzon and a small Polillo islands in the Philippines. The bleeding heart pigeon is considered as an endangered species. The Casela Park is the only park where you can watch over hundred species of birds but you will also enjoy the surroundings of the park. There are also other animals as tortoise, monkeys and tigers that can be seen in the park.
