In the casela park, you will see the Aldabra tortoise. This tortoise species is one of the largest in the world. The Aldabra Tortoise is native from the Seychelles. It looks the same as the Galapagos giant Tortoise; the carapace of the Aldabra has an average of one hundred and twenty cm in length. The Casela Park is mainly a bird where are seen a large number of bird species and endangered bird species. The park is located in the district of Black River a few kilometers away from the village of Flic en Flac. The giant Aldabra tortoise has a long life span which can be over one hundred twenty years; they are one of the species in the world that may live very long. It is said that the oldest tortoise lived until two hundred and fifty five years old. Most of the Aldabra species are found on Aldabra Atoll in Seychelles Islands.
