The Flamboyant is a tree which is seen flowering mainly in summer in Mauritius Island. You can see it on the picture how this nice red flowering tree looks just wonderful. The flamboyant is mainly found in tropical warm countries. The flamboyant has for binomial name Delonix regia and forms part of the Fabaceae family, the plants is also known as Peocock Flower, Gulmohar or the Flame tree. The flowers of the tree have a vivid red color and can be seen from far away. There are streets in Mauritius where you have planted on each side of the roads, this looks wonderful.
