The orange lined trigger fish which can be found in the aquarium of Mauritius and is known as Balistapus undulates in scientific language. The orange lined trigger fish can be easily recognised by its distinctive colouration. It is dark green, brown or greyish with diagonal orange to yellow lines on the body. It has a large black blotch on its caudal peduncle. This fish species grows to 30 cm in length. It eats a wide range of foods items as live coral, sea urchins, crabs, algae, molluscs and other invertebrates groups as well as fishes and tunicates. In Mauritius the orange lined trigger fish is known as “bourse”.
